Missty Haze is Naarm/Melbourne based burlesque performer and dancer. She has been gracing the stage from a very early age. Originally training in ballet as Utassy Ballet School and joining Yellowwheel contemporary dance company in 2014. Missty is a proud graduate of Transit Dance where she received her Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) in 2019. Following this, Missty pursued two years of full-time musical theater training at Showfit, where she was awarded a scholarship and completed her studies in 2022.

Throughout her career she has had the privilege of gracing some of the biggest stages in Melbourne including the Playhouse theatre Arts center Melbourne, the Atheneum Theatre Melbourne, The Round Theatre Whitehorse, multiple Melbourne Fringe Festival shows and is a proud cast member of Shimmery Burlesque - one of Melbournes biggest Burlesque shows.

Missty is overjoyed to have found her way to the burlesque scene and has been influenced and inspired by the strong women she has had the please of working with throughout her years on stage.

Her etherial, whimsical acts take the audience on an exploration of nature and the  elements and draws on parallels from those to the human form. Majority of her acts have been developed out of a deep appreciation for bodies, as I have been on my own journey for body neutrality, they are a celebration of all curves, ripples and rolls of the body, if we can love those things in nature and water why can’t we love them on ourselves?
